NCR, a global market leader in self-service banking automation, and planfocus software have established a strategic partnership geared towards joint marketing and implementation of solutions for the optimization of cash expenditure (cash management) in Germany and Central Europe. Under this agreement, NCR will be offering the software solutions by Munich-based planfocus as APTRA CPTO, with immediate effect. “Cost reduction by means of optimized cash processes is becoming an increasingly important solution option for banks, armored carrier providers, and retail companies,” says Wolfgang Kneilmann, CEO of NCR Germany. “We are very glad to be able to offer our clients APTRA CPTO – the leading software solution on the market – and in doing so, to enable significant cost savings.”
According to Klaus Giljohann, NCR?s Director of Professional Services for Central Europe, “The potential savings for our clients as a result of optimized cash management are considerable; however, these have to be achieved at the same or improved availability levels. This is where APTRA CPTO clearly stands out when compared to other solutions, as it guarantees an extraordinarily high level of reliability.”
The agreement on APTRA CPTO grants NCR the position of exclusive distributor (excluding the Sparkassen institutes) within the German market and of fully exclusive distributor in Switzerland.

CPTO will continue to be exclusively represented by SSG Lange und Partner AG in the Sparkasse branches and Sparkasse computing centers.
